Dawn Jackson and Pure Heart have traveled the Southeast for the past fifteen years sharing their love of Christ and gospel music. The group is family oriented and made up of six members.

Doug and Dawn Jackson began in ministry when they were just teenagers. This couple met in church, married in church and have raised their two children, Clint and Laurna, in church. They now travel and share in ministry, as a family. 

Joining them are two great friends and mighty men of God, drummer Les Myers and guitarist Fred Hammers. Les, also raised in the same camps and youth rally's as Doug and Dawn, has been a part of the group since the beginning. He attends the Flowing Wells Worship Center where he works with the Youth.   Les and his wife, Sharon have three sons. 

Fred Hammers came on board with pure heart in 2003. Doug and Dawn meet Fred and his wife Debbie at the South Aiken Church Of God, where Dawn was serving as interim assistant choir director and ministering with pure heart. Fred and Debbie have four children and six grandchildren and are also involved with Christ Central, an inner city ministry. 

We consider it a privilege to minister each week with the pure heart family.
